Angelina Jolie is now officially dirt. She has foolishly confessed to doing one of the few things that America will not tolerate - abusing animals. The confession was made on the now infamous heroin tape. That's the one where Jolie smokes heroin, and discusses the merits of BDSM. During the course of the tape, a stoned Jolie confesses that she's not much of an animal person. That's because everything she touches has a tendency to die. Jolie relates that she had a hamster that died of pneumonia, after she brought it into the shower. She also had a bunch of lizards that gave up the ghost, after being left out in the sun. Then there was that snake that perished. However that was different, Jolie admits that she tried to kill it. Oh yeah and she had this dog she liked to beat. Besides that litany of carnage, there may have also been some rabbits that prematurely met their Maker.

She delivers these stunning revelations with a little smile on her face, as if she thinks this is cute, and all a part of her kooky, off the wall charm. The public has been less than impressed. Response on gossip &entertainment message boards is pretty strong, and usually along the lines of "Now I officially hate her", and "She's worse than Paris Hilton". The news is even harder to take after her preachy, holier than thou, save the world trip. It's hard enough to take when some one tries to come off as "better than you". It just adds insult to injury when it turns out that they were faking it. So long Angelina, it's been good to know you. Crazy was a part of her appeal, but Jolie has turned out to be the wrong kind of crazy. Her career, or what was left of it, might be over faster than you can say "Michael Vick".
